Tracie Tevault
Campus Director
Hello! I'm Tracie, and I joined the Student Life team in 2024. Growing up in La Porte, I developed a deep appreciation for community and connection, which fuels my passion for supporting students. I believe wholeheartedly that every student should know they are loved and that they were created with a unique purpose. I strive to create an environment where students feel valued and empowered to explore their potential. I’m excited to be part of this journey and to help guide students as they navigate their paths. Let’s connect and make a positive impact together!
Duante Newton
Campus Director
Hi, my name is Duante. I gave my life to Christ three years ago, and since then, God has opened incredible doors for me to serve in ministry through evangelism, church volunteering, and community outreaches. I’m truly thankful for the opportunity He has given me to be part of Student Life, and I’m excited to see how He continues to use me here.

Veronica Castro
Campus Volunteer
Mrs. Veronica has been serving in youth ministry for over 15 years. Sharing her own testimonies of God’s faithfulness in her life is a passion of hers, because she desires to let everyone know, God is for you, right where to are at! Another passion of hers and her husband’s is serving the community and anywhere God leads them through missions, Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone”. She believes the love and compassion of Christ is what leads Mrs. Veronica to the students of Student Life! Each week she shares her heart with students by serving and pouring into them as the Lord leads her.
Between her beautiful blended family and the many the Lord has put in her life she is a Bulldog momma through and through!

Alisha Green
Community Committee Advisor
I have a deep love for serving others, especially the youth. There’s something truly fulfilling about walking alongside them, supporting their growth, and being a steady presence in their lives. I’m not one to seek the spotlight—I’m more of a behind-the-scenes person who finds joy in being the hands and feet of Jesus. Whether it’s through quiet acts of service or simply showing up with love and humility, I believe that every small gesture can reflect His heart.
I’m married to my best friend, Thomas Green, with whom I also served in the ministry for the past 22 years. Our church home is Pleasant Hill Church of Deliverance. We have 5 wonderful children. I love all sports, being outside, fine arts and crafts, and spending time with my family.

Brandon Brewer
Campus Volunteer
As the Associate Pastor at La Porte First Church, I’m honored to serve with Student Life, not only as a volunteer but also as a member of the Community Committee. I choose to be involved because I genuinely love serving students. I still remember how much it meant to me as a teenager when someone showed up and made time for me. Now, I want to be that person for our students; to show up, support them, and remind them they matter.

Thomas Green
Community Committee
Thomas is a longtime youth ministry leader who loves investing in the next generation. He volunteers with Student Life, serving students in grades 6–12 and helping guide the ministry as part of the Community Advisory Board. With more than 15 years of experience in various roles at Pleasant Hill Church, Thomas is passionate about building meaningful connections and creating a safe place where students can grow in faith, friendships, and purpose.
Thomas serves because he knows firsthand the impact caring volunteers can have; he was blessed by leaders in his own community who helped shape his walk with Christ and his life. Now, he is committed to paying it forward, becoming the support and encouragement he wishes every student could have as they navigate their own journey.
